Carrie Dawson the owner and lead makeup artist of HD Makeup Ready has loved working in the fields of makeup, fashion, theatre, movies and television since she was a pre-teen. She started her career in the industry on stage and in front of the camera acting, singing, dancing and modeling. She was able to work and be exposed to all aspects of the industry into her early twenties including a Bond film in Key West. 

That is when her love for the industry behind the scenes became a passion. She started apprenticing and learning all she could about fashion, television and movie makeup, hair, styling and wardrobe. She loved learning about how various light, color and movement affected what was seen by the cameras.

She has become licensed in the demanding field of High Definition and Digital Makeup and continues training frequently to stay on the cutting edge of her profession. Carrie loves collaborating, meeting new talent and continually improving her craft.
